About us

I am Anu and I live in the northern part of Finland with my husband Tuomas and our two sons, Sebastian and Valtteri. We have always liked dogs and there were always animals both in my home and in my husband's home. Our first dogs were English springer spaniel Lumi and collie-mix Rölli, who have gone to rainbow bridge now.

At the moment three lovely mastiffs - Brina, Rhona and Jätkä - live with us. We dreamed years about a mastiff, and our first one, Wakonda's Frontenac "Brina", really melted our hearts for the breed. After that my interest in the breed got deeper and I wanted to know more about breeding dogs. I have been a member of the Finnish Kennel Club since 2006 and the Finnish Dog Breeders Association since 2008. I got my kennel name in 2014. Jätkä has also passed the test in Suomen Karva-Kaverit and together Jätkä and I visit people of different ages, bringing joy to them on different occasions. My goal is to breed healthy and well-tempered mastiffs that comply with the breed standard for home and show dogs. If you want to know more, please get in touch with me.
